Design and art direction of the new Costa Brava website
The tourist website of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees needed a restyling to show the quality and authenticity of the destination. Our proposal is based on an approach where audiovisual content is the protagonist and in which storytelling seeks to transform the concept of classic luxury into a luxury that prioritizes the authenticity and uniqueness of the Costa Brava and its local people. Together with photographer Anna Pla Narbona, we’ve created all the content for both the web and social networks, providing a higher quality photographic art direction that transmits the passion for the territory.
We reduced the chromatic range, taking the pompous golds to ocher and looking for more natural tones that fit with the calm tone of the content. We also look for a different tone in the verbal identity capable of describing but above all moving, inspired by the delicacy of writer Josep Pla, a lover of the territory.
Navigation is fluid and simple, thus emphasizing the power of the content, and showing a more human and sensorial face, with the idea of describing the intangibles and focusing on the sensations of living the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees.
